Hanaa’ Tameez

Hanaa’ Tameez is the diversity reporter for the Star-Telegram and La Estrella in Fort Worth, TX. She covers race, culture and social equity in one of the most conservative counties in the country.

Hanaa’ graduated from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism in 2017 from the Spanish-language concentration, where she studied and covered the changing Latino communities of New York City. She graduated from Stony Brook University in 2016 with a B.A. in Journalism and Spanish Language & Literature.

Hanaa’s work has appeared in Americas Quarterly, Animal Político, The Wall Street Journal and publications by the Council on Foreign Relations.
